Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (Medicare registered)
Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are registered providers with Medicare Australia. They have been assessed on behalf of the Commonwealth Government by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) as having specialist mental health expertise.
An Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) is eligible to provide services through the Commonwealth-funded Better Access to Mental Health Care.
The Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Trade Mark is exclusively available and restricted to members of the Australian Association of Social Workers who meet the specified requirements and commit to a minimum amount of ongoing, annual professional development in the area of mental health.
Robin completed her Master of Social Work through Latrobe University. She has experience as a counselling practitioner in private practice as well as working with people with cognitive impairments in the state government sector. Robin has experience in counselling individuals of all ages.
